We are pleased to announce the sale of Koontz-Wagner Services, a South Bend, Indiana-headquartered industrial equipment repair services and electrical services company to Kestrel Capital Group, a Chicago, Illinois-based independent sponsor. Koontz-Wagner Services provides in-house and on-site field service repair and maintenance solutions for a variety of industrial equipment and electrical apparatus, including large motors, transformers, generators, and pumps, along with a full suite of electrical maintenance and contracting services. The company was advised by The Bundy Group in connection with this transaction.
This sale of Koontz-Wagner Services marks the fifth and final sale of the operating units controlled by Koontz-Wagner Holdings, a platform company acquired by High Street Capital in August 2008. “During our stewardship of the Koontz-Wagner entities we were successful in growing the businesses and increasing employment. Those employees were retained in connection with these transactions. This outcome is representative of High Street Capital’s goal to be a good partner with the Koontz-Wagner team and a good citizen,” said Joseph Katcha, Principal of High Street Capital.
