We are pleased to announce our portfolio company, Superior Fibers, L.L.C. (“Superior”), has completed the sale of its composites business unit to a financial buyer. The composites business, based in Vanceburg, KY, produces continuous filament veils and mats that are sold to companies creating composite materials and products for many end markets including building products, consumer products, automotive and sporting goods.
High Street Capital Principal Will Oberholtzer commented, “Over the past few years, we have integrated the operations of the former Hollinee with those of Superior. After completing this integration, we decided to divest Superior’s composites business unit in order to focus on Superior’s core filtration business.”
